Fuel Molecular Optimization
As the fuel passes through our Zenride Optimizer, the molecular clusters of hydrocarbons are partially broken down and rearranged.
Effect: The fuel is atomized into finer droplets during injection, enabling a more homogeneous air–fuel mixture.
More Complete Combustion
A finer spray pattern and improved mixing with intake air lead to more complete oxidation of hydrocarbons.
Effect: Reduced formation of CO, HC, particulate matter (PM), and lower NOx levels under specific load conditions.
Improved Thermal Efficiency
With less unburned fuel and a cleaner combustion chamber, the same power output is achieved with a smaller amount of fuel.
Effect: Documented reductions in fuel consumption up to 40% in controlled European tests.
Reduced Deposits and Component Stress
Incomplete combustion normally causes carbon deposits on injectors, valves, turbochargers, and the DPF.

Zenride Optimizer Installation Manual

mportant Requirements
Installation Description – Zenride Optimizer on Volvo and DAF Compared with Scania
Volvo – DP xxxxxx
Vehicle: Volvo 4×2, model year 2023
VIN: xxxx
Engine: 12,777 cm³ diesel – most likely a Volvo D13K/D13-series engine
The Zenride Optimizer must be installed in the engine's fuel supply line on the low-pressure side. The recommended installation principle is:
Diesel tank → pre-filter/water separator → feed pump → Volvo main fuel filter → Zenride Optimizer → engine fuel/high-pressure module → common rail and injectors
The Optimizer must therefore be positioned after the final fuel-filtration stage and before the fuel is pressurised for the common-rail system.
Differences Compared with Scania
Item Scania R 2024 Volvo 4×2 2023
Engine Scania 12.7-litre diesel engine Volvo D13-series, 12.8-litre engine
Filter configuration Scania-specific filter housing and fuel-feed system Typically a pre-filter/water separator and Volvo main fuel filter
Feed pump Scania-specific position and design Volvo-specific feed pump and filter unit
High-pressure system Scania-specific high-pressure pump and common rail Volvo D13 fuel module and common-rail system
Optimizer position After final filtration and before the high-pressure system After the Volvo main fuel filter and before the engine's high-pressure section
Fittings Must be adapted to Scania hoses and connections Must be adapted to Volvo hoses and connections
Mounting bracket Adapted to the available space around the Scania engine A new Volvo-specific mounting bracket may be required
Important Installation Requirements
- The Optimizer must only be installed on the low-pressure side.
- It must not be installed between the high-pressure module and the common-rail rail.
- It must not be installed in the fuel return line.
- The direction of fuel flow through the Optimizer must point towards the engine.
- The unit must be securely fixed using a separate mounting bracket and must not be suspended from the fuel hoses.
- It must be protected from vibrations, exhaust heat and moving engine components.
- Hoses, fittings and seals must be approved for diesel fuel, the operating temperature and the applicable fuel-feed pressure.
- After installation, the fuel system must be primed and bled in accordance with Volvo's procedures and checked for leaks.
- The engine must be test-run, and any fuel-pressure faults must be checked using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
Conclusion
The basic installation principle is the same for Volvo and Scania:
The Zenride Optimizer must be installed in the filtered fuel supply line before the high-pressure section.
The primary differences concern the position of the filters and feed pump, hose routing, connections and the design of the engine's fuel module. Therefore, the mounting bracket and fittings used for a Scania cannot automatically be reused on the Volvo.
The final installation configuration must not be determined until the VIN-specific Volvo fuel-system diagram and the vehicle's actual engine layout have been inspected.
Volvo states that vehicle-specific information can be accessed using the chassis number in the Volvo Driver Guide.
PRODUCTCOMPLIANCE
Zenride Optimizer is developed in full compliance with current EU standards for fuel handling, safety and environmental protection. The device is classified as a fuel treatment system, not as an engine component, because it does not change the engine's construction, software or emission control.
This means that Zenride Optimizer:
• requires no type approval or vehicle re-registration,
• can be installed freely by authorized workshops without affecting the manufacturer's warranty,
• follows CE standards for electrical and mechanical equipment,
• supports EU goals for reducing CO₂ and particle emissions in existing diesel engines.

LeaseControl – Smart GPS Tracking for Vehicle
Leasing and Finance
Zenride Energy A/S complies with all GDPR and EU data regulations.
Developed with Jaxicloud, LeaseControl combines GPS tracking with optional advanced telematics - including flow meters, fuel and sensor data, and live vehicle status.
This allows leasing and finance companies to track vehicles, verify usage, detect misuse, and recover assets quickly when needed — while reducing theft, delays, and costly repossessions.
When installing a Zenride Optimizer, customers can optionally connect to Jaxicloud's certified cloud platform (ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2 Type II, IEC 62443) for full data insight, real-time reporting, and smart vehicle management.
A powerful add-on for customers who want complete transparency and control.
